BAKER WATER TREATMENT SYSTEMS T7 PART CROS-4 MEMBRANE TYPE Thin Film TEMP. RANGE (°F) 40-100 PRESSURE RANGE (PSI) 40-100 PH RANGE 2-11 MAX. PROD. RATE (GPD) 18 The System Pre-assembled, 4-stage system includes a 5-micron Pre-filter (SED-S5), carbon Pre-filter (DWC-B10), 18 gal/day Reverse Osmosis Membrane for use in chlorinated and non-chlorinated water (ROM-100), Final Filter (CTO- 1-10), Lead-free Air Gap Faucet (LF-AG), 4 gal. Storage Tank, Automatic Shut-off Valve, color-coded tubing, and all installation accessories and instructions. The Process Osmosis is the phenomenon whereby fluids with a lower concentration of minerals naturally pass through a membrane to the higher concentration side. Reverse Osmosis occurs when pressure (household water pressure is sufficient) is applied to the higher concentration side, forcing higher concen- tration fluids to the lower concentration side. Campbell’s R/O system uses this concept, tested in NASA’s early space capsules, to trap microscopic contaminants in the desalinated or semi-purified water membrane, which selectively allows purified water molecules to flow through the membrane to the storage tank for household use.
